Dear friends of Hands On Miami,

Now more than ever we need your help! Hands On Miami has been hit hard by the current economic crisis. We have experienced a reduction of our funding sources including government, foundation and individual contributions. On August 2, 2010, Hands On Miami is launching "The 5 Dollar Campaign." Just think, if every active Hands On Miami volunteer gives just $5.00 you can help us raise $10,000!

Why is your donation important? Your donation will help us continue to fulfill our mission of transforming communities by engaging volunteers and strengthening non-profits. Every dollar will help us continue to provide more than 70 high impact volunteer projects per month. Please donate now and be sure to forward to your friends and family. Give today to help us reach our goal of $10,000 by August 31, 2010.

Mayor Carlos Alvarez's V Initiative draws on the collective efforts of government, business leaders & the community. It's how we, as a people, can take responsibility for this place we call home.
