Help beautify the City of North Miami Beach by participating in the 9th Annual Teen Spring Cleaning! On March 6th, the City of North Miami Beach is hosting a large-scale Clean-Up Day with several environmental projects all around the city. Volunteers will depart on buses from Challenger Park / Gwen Margolis Amphitheater to work in selected areas of the city. Hundreds of volunteers are needed to assist with various restoration efforts including: graffiti removal, painting, planting of trees and shrubs, as well as litter removal. This is a great day to earn 5 hours of community service with your friends! Volunteers will receive a FREE t-shirt! Free lunch, music, and entertainment after the project! The age limit for this project is 13 – 19 year olds. Every volunteer MUST bring a Youth Waiver Form signed by their parent or guardian to participate in Teen Spring Cleaning 2010. Click here to download the Youth Waiver Form. Don't forget to bring it with you to the project or you will be unable to participate! Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen!
