SAVE THE DATE - Hands On Miami Day 2008
Saturday, November 8th

BE A LEADER for HOM Day 2008! HOM Day Site Managers (SM) and Project Coordinators (PC) are a critical part of the great impact HOM Day makes on our community each year. SM & PCs serve as liaisons between Hands On Miami and our partnering agencies to develop and coordinate project logistics of one of HOM Day's 25+ projects. No experience necessary, other than the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done!

To become a SM or PC, volunteers must attend a training. Make a difference in our Miami-Dade community this November!

Premios Juventud wants YOU!

Univision is giving FREE tickets for the Premios Juventud awards show to HOM volunteers that have participated in an environmental project in the past year. Tickets will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. RSVP here.

Are YOU a Leader?

Take a lead with Hands On Miami and become a Volunteer Leader (VL) for a calendar project or new volunteer orientation! HOM is looking for a few good volunteers who are ready to step up to the plate and support projects as a leader. Contact Lucia Goyen or phone 305-646-7255 to set up a one-on-one VL training at your earliest convenience.

Choose from 5 different camp sessions to attend this summer! Earn community service hours by exploring critical issues in our community related to homelessness, environmental issues, people with disabilities, disaster preparedness and more. For more information and to register, please click here.

HOM welcomes volunteers of all ages & levels of ability in our programs. We believe that we can strengthen our community by providing service opportunities for all. HOM will provide American Sign Language interpreters and alternate communication formats with a minimum of 5 working days notice. Please refer to each project/course for minimum ages.
